Excursions
There are many beautiful and interesting places to visit in and around Montenegro. The following excursions are available throughout the summer. All of them depart from the city of Herceg Novi: either by air-conditioned minibus from the central bus station or by boat from the harbour. All of these excursions require booking in advance: please contact the provider beforehand to confirm availability.
Dubrovnik

Explore the medieval city of Dubrovnik. Attractions include taking a walk along the top of the city walls, taking a boat trip along the coast or visiting some of its many fine cafés, bars and restuarants. From mid-July to the end of August each year Dubrovnik hosts the world-famous Dubrovnik Festival: www.dubrovnik-festival.hr.
Ostrog Monastery

Visit the historic Ostrog Monastery which is situated against an almost vertical background high up in the large rock of Ostroška Greda.
Boat Trip around the Bay of Kotor

Visit the island of Gospa od Škrpjela, stop for a swim at Prčanj and explore the medieval towns of Perast and Kotor. Lunch and refreshments incuded.
Glass-bottomed Boat Trip to Mamula Every day: depart 20.50, return 23.40

Travel out by night to the island of Mamula and view the rich underwater beauty beneath through the glass hull of the boat, illuminated by searchlights to a depth of 15 metres.
Skadar Lake
